St. Patrick's Day 2007

Eric, Nicole and Sara went to NYC for St. Patrick's Day 2007. We were so lucky with our timing.  Not long after our flight arrived New York a blizzard began and the airport cancelled all flights. People were stuck in the airport for hours on end and we just missed it!  The evening we arrived we went to Megu Japanese restaurant in the midst of pelting snow and whizzing wind, by the next day the snow had stopped and we went trudging around the sloppy streets of NYC.  We went to Sara's favorite store, B&H Photo Superstore and Nicole's favorite, Uniqlo and we went to see Eric's friend play the traditional Irish Uilleann pipes in his family pub.  We watched the parade from across the way from the beautiful and famous St. Patrick's cathedral after drinking Guinness with a couple of cute little old nuns.  We have travelled extensively with Nicole and we always have the greatest time with lots of laughs - this trip was no exception.  Nothing short of a weekend we will never forget.

Megu Restaurant's Ice Buddha - where we ate Kobe beef and other incredible Japanese food

The night we went to Megu we were pelted with the worst snow storm we have seen in years. It was freezing but so worth it-- the food was AWESOME!

Eric and Nicole laugh at me because I forced my way behind the food counter to get a shot of them looking at the corned beef.
